In this lesson you will go on a scavenger hunt around your house to find objects that use electricity.

Activity Instructions
We use electricity every day in so many ways! Can you think of how you use electricity? We use electricity to power a lot of the devices and objects in our home. In this activity you and a parent or guardian will explore different rooms in your house to find objects that use electricity.
Use the “Electricity Scavenger Hunt” worksheet to keep track of the objects you find. On this worksheet, you see the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. Use your pencil to trace each number. When you are done tracing each number, walk around your home with a parent or guardian to find different objects that use electricity. When you find an object that uses electricity, draw a picture of it in one of the empty boxes on your worksheet.
