In response to the oral traditions of Pacific Island cultures and communities the integration of computers provide a natural extension of ACE Reading. Computer ACE is showing promise in research with ESL populations.
- Computer ACE uses readily available computer software (grades 1-3).
- Computer ACE engages and individualizes student activities and proceeds at the student’s pace.
- Computer ACE is an 8-week supplemental program, scheduled for 25 minutes, 4 days a week.
- Computer ACE teaches peers and adults from the local community to follow a specific 25-step protocol and effectively support student literacy development.
