Peter J. Rappa Resilient and Sustainable Coasts Fellowship

Rappa Fellows engage in projects that look into the natural, social, and built environments in Hawaiʻi and work on projects to better manage issues that affect coastal community livability, sustainability and resilience. The Rappa Fellows will further their knowledge and understanding of sustainable coastal communities through research, extension, and community-based education in topics of coastal smart growth and community planning and their integration with hazard mitigation and climate change adaptation, as well as cultural and traditional knowledge of Hawai‘i. $7,000 stipend.

AFCS' full-time PCIP for college juniors prepares you for a number of promising careers within AFCS, including Science & Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, Acquisition, and other mission-criticial specialty positions. All told, 500 internships in 45 locations across America will be awarded to student who qualify. Some of our career fields even offer a sign-on bonus. Over the 10-12 week paid summer internship, you'll work side by side with current AFCS and military professionals, gaining invaluable hands-on experience making tangible contributions to real-world projects in support of the U.S. Air Force and its critical mission.

Kids Like Me Camps

Kids Like Me’s camps return Summer of 2024! These camps are a safe and enriching environment for neurodiverse 6-17-year-olds across the autism spectrum and other special needs to engage, experience, and explore. Campers will be matched to ensure an appropriate peer group for learning and fun and participate in a wide range of social skills and fun activities such as fun & fitness, engaging games, science experiments, arts & crafts, and so much more! Siblings are welcome.
