The AFFECT Modules are a free resource for instructors in elementary and secondary education to provide content on family engagement to their courses. The 5 modules cover topics including:

1. Getting to know your students and their families
2. Communicating with families
3. Engaging families in the home and school
4. Partnering with diverse families in Hawai’i
5. Finding Appropriate strategies 

The creators of these modules recognized the need to strengthen the relationships between schools, families, and community. They provide lessons with videos, resources and activities for educators on family engagement.
