Huakaʻi Spotlight: Community Partnerships
This summer, Project Hōkūlani collaborated with the Department of Native Hawaiian Health and JABSOM Huakaʻi
to provide a one-day workshop on campus. Students from around the island came to campus and had an opportunity
to learn more about traditional healing and the healthcare field through medical problem solving, case simulation, and
CPR/AED training.
AI to tackle healthcare efficiency focus of HS summer program
How can you use artificial intelligence (AI) to improve how doctors process and treat patients? That is the challenge that a group of high school students from around the state tackled during a two-week summer course at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
