If so, learn more about Access to Independence, a non-profit Center for Independent Living in Honolulu, HI that assists those with significant disabilities in their journey to live more productive and independent lives within the community of their choosing.

Led by the youth service coordinator, this informational seminar will introduce the ʻŌpio (Youth) Program’s transition services and other services like the transportation support services and how we are able to assist those in achieving a greater level of mobility.

“Brock Lyle is a dedicated Youth Services Coordinator at Access to Independence, a renowned non-profit Center for Independent Living. Diagnosed with autism at the age of 32, Brock’s personal journey fuels his passion for his work and provides him with a unique insight into the field of disabilities. 

Drawing from his own experiences, Brock brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, particularly youth. His personal journey has fueled his unwavering commitment to advocating for their rights, promoting inclusivity, and fostering their independence. 

Brock’s diagnosis of autism serves as a catalyst for his drive to create positive change in the lives of young individuals. It enables him to approach his role with a distinct perspective, breaking barriers and dismantling misconceptions surrounding disabilities.
