Project Hōkūlani Seeks High School Student Scholar | 2023-2024

Project Hōkūlani is a free year-long, culturally responsive science and internship program for high school students on Hawai‘i Island, Kauaʻi, Lānaʻi, Molokaʻi, and Oʻahu. Limited space is available. Student scholars program includes:

• Science exploration within Native Hawaiian culture
• Hands-on science activities
• College preparation
• Paid summer internship and mentoring
• ʻOhana Resources

Eligibility and Requirements

• Enrolled as a Fall 2022 high school student.
• Attend two classes/month.
• Complete the year-long program.
• Work 40-hour paid summer internship position.

Native Hawaiian students are given priority, but all are welcome.
