About

Project Ho’oku’i II was the second iteration of Project Ho’oku’i, a program to support Native Hawaiian, at-risk, and students with disabilities transitioning from high school to postsecondary education and certification programs. Utilizing the “Ho’oku’i Model” of accelerated, computerized learning, financial support, and cultural mentoring, Project Ho’oku’i served over 1000 students at 28 high schools on the islands of Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Hawaii, and Oahu, during its three-year funding period.
